WHO WE ARE

Samuel Memorial Convent School has a ‘House System’ and every student; teacher will be assigned to a house. The House System is a traditional feature of schools all over the world. India was one of the first to start the House System in 1859. More recently the house system has been rejuvenated in the Harry Potter books and movies..

The school looks to develop students who seek knowledge and understanding of their world, are life-long learners and take an active interest in events, knowing themselves to be agents of change-individuals who exhibit integrity in thought and conduct, by preparing our students for university and as responsible global citizens through an enlightened program of continuous institutional improvement, SMCS will set a benchmark for excellence.

Samuel Memorial Convent School shall strive to increase the potential of every child through an active partnership between Children, Teachers, Parents and Management. The School aims to achieve this by providing a positive, secure and caring environment where individual diversity is acknowledged and appreciated and by the promotion of mutual respect, integrity, understanding and effective communication between home and school.

We have grown into one of the top Institutions in the State, providing academic excellence to our students. This is facilitated by dedicated educators who are trained to channelize their energy and resources towards child-centered qualitative learning.
